Our School

History
In the 1950's, Charles A. Manning donated this land to the Jeffco Public Schools.

Since then, it has successfully weathered many building, curriculum and community changes:  such as, a junior high, adult ed and option school.  The most recent renovation occurred in 2002, where 1/2 of the building was rebuilt.  This includes the office, library, and all the north classrooms.

The Manning Option School Today
The Manning School was established in 2001 after the community requested an option program for the north side of Jeffco.

Our school is founded upon three tenets:
1) high expectations for student achievement and thus provide a rigorous and relevant curriculum that prepares students for any high school in the Denver area;
2) develop a strong partnership between the home and school ensuring communication, support and parental involvement;
3) high behavioral expectations for students and insist that students exhibit responsibility for their learning and conduct.

Faculty and Staff
There are 50 Manning School faculty.  Many hold multiple credentials; Master's and Doctorate degrees.
