Dress Code

The Dress Code at Manning is designed to mirror expectations of professional dress in the world of work and to maintain our rigorous academic environment. Students who are in violation of our dress code are sent to the main office and provided clothing that meet our expectations while the offending clothing is retained until the end of the day.

  • All shirts must cover the midsection of the body and entire torso, including the back.
  • All shorts, skirts and dresses must be fingertip length or longer.
  • Tops must have shoulder straps that are no less than 2 inches in width.  Racer tops are not permitted.
  • Shirts/Tops must not have arm holes that fall more than 2 inches below the armpit.
  • No undergarments may be visible while standing or sitting, including straps or waistbands.
  • No pajamas or other nightwear.
  • No hats, bandanas or sunglasses may be worn within the building.
  • Footwear must be appropriate for classroom activities-no slippers.
  • No clothing or accessories with inappropriate language or messages are permitted.
